5. Processes of Biodiesel Plant

Pre-treated feedstock is reacted with methanol using a hydroxide catalyst in a single-stage process yielding fatty acid methyl esters. After removal of excess methanol, the crude methyl ester is settled to remove the co-product glycerol. After distillation, biodiesel is discharged to storage.

Preatment and Refinery: The process adopts the continuous degumming, acid, dehydration, in addition to the complex technology, improving equipment utilization, lower equipment investment. Methanol recovery : After transesterification,the excess of unreacted methanol is recovered by continuous double flash towers and then reused directly.
