Application

This screw oil press is an advanced expeller which is widely used in pressing oil from vegetable oil seeds.

The oil separated from oil materials by the pressing power which comes from the change of chamber volume, drive from screw worm, resistance of curve teeth at press rings and extrusion friction between oil material.Depending on the intended use of the oil, our presses can be operated with either the cold or the hot press technique.

Working Principle:

By using the pressure of dynamic extrusion to extract the oil from material, the material is pushed forward in the press chamber.

The oil flows through the ring teeth falls into a foodstuff–safe stainless steel funnel.

The press cake is transported out of the press via a freely adjustable press gap. This adjustable press gap makes it possible to process many different types of seed.

1. What kind of material can be used to process?

More than 20 types of seeds such as peanuts, rapeseeds, sesame, copra, cottonseeds, hazelnut, linseed, oil palm kernel, pumpkin seed, sun flower seeds, walnuts can be processed by our screw oil press.More types are to be developed

2. What is the requirement of material and moisture content?The oil content should above 20%,moisture content is around 11%.

3. Is the oil edible directly?

No, oil filtration process is needed

4. Does the seeds need pre-processing such as roasting or drying?First pressing, is extracted with using roasting or drying (a hot press), Second pressing, is extract without using roasting or drying( a cold press).

5. Does the screw oil press need to be heated?Yes, it does. Preheat with dry oil cake for 30 minutes before feeding seeds normally.

6. How many people are required to operate this screw oil press?

One~two people can operate.
