Descriptions

Roller Compactor(Dry granulator) is a new self-developed equipment with integration of the extrusion, pulverizing and granulating, also belongs to a new equipment with function of energy-save and environment protection.
For this equipment, it adopted the LG series roller compactor used in metal powder rolling control technology. Through adjusting the physical properties of fluctuation between different material and same material, it can make the powder material into particle material directly, also, which makes the process parameters of the roller compactor(dry granulator) accurate, repeated adjustment(such as capacity, flake density, rolling pressure, speed and so on). Therefore it can produce high quality granules efficiently and also improves the stability, the disintegration and solubility of the granule.
Roller Compactor (Dry granulator) is widely used for material granulating in pharmaceutical industry, foodstuff industry and chemical industry, especially for the material which is easy to decompose or agglomerate once they met moisture and heat .
The features for this machine are compact structure, simple operation, easy dismantling and cleaning. In the pharmaceutical industry, the material from roller compactor(dry granulator) can be tablet-compressing or capsule-filling directly

Process-flow

After mixing, the well-mixed powder enter into the feeding material silo from the top feeding port. By the transfer device, the well-mixed powder is delivered into the extruding device. By the force of two pressure extruding gear, the powder material become into the thin flake. Through the two-grade milling system, it makes the thin flake material into the required granule, and then finishing the granulating process.

Features

Compared with traditional wet granulator, the roller compactor(dry granulator) can make the power raw material into the granule without adding any intermediate and additive. Meanwhile, the granule from the roller compactor (dry granulator ) is very uniform in fineness, and the bulk density of granule is extremely increased. Such process for dry compactor (dry granulator) is not only to control the pollution during the process, reduce the area occupied, but also reduce the power consuption, and let the process flow more reasonable. It improves the material appearance and flow-ability, and make the material storage and transport easily, meanwhile, the solubility of the material, the specific surface area and porosity can be controlled. For the roller compactor (dry granulator ), it is especially suitable for the material which can not be made into granule by wet mixing granulator and fluidizing granulator. The advantage for the roller compactor (dry granulator) as bellow:
(1)As to avoid cross pollution during the process, we equip the machine with the granulating device and drive device separately.
(2)All material contact parts are convenient to be dismantled for cleaning. It can avoid the dust fly effectively in order to reduce the pollution possibility.
(3)Filling mechanism with natural vent channel can make the material distribute into the machine informally, and let the bulk density more unique.
(4)Unique cooling system make the roller adjust its temperature itself.
(5)Two-grade granulating system can ensure the machine produce the required granule.
(6)The equipment adopts visual design, it is convenient for the operator to observe, maintain the machine.
